We offer safety solutions through:
Health and Safety Program Development:
We create programs that are relevant, realistic, effective and customized to your needs. By balancing safety, quality and productivity, we successfully integrate Health and Safety into other management systems.
Our goal is to improve the efficiency of your Health and Safety management system through our innovative technology. We work with your staff to create ownership of the safety program. We believe that safety is about people, relationships and communication, and we will work with your crew to empower them to make safe decisions on the jobsite.
Occupational Hygiene (Air Testing):
Workers are potentially exposed to a wide variety of chemicals at workplaces, some of which have severe health effects. We can offer air testing service to assess workers' personal exposure level and determine whether it exceeds the exposure limit set up by provincial regulations. Here are some examples of chemical hazards that we can assess:
- Respirable dust
- Wood dust
- Welding fume
- Heavy metal
- Organic compounds
Noise Measurement and Hearing Conservation Program:
Noise exposure is ubiquitous across all industries, thus noise measurement and a complete hearing conservation program should be a critical part of your OHS program. We can assess the ambient noise level and determine high-risk areas in your operation. We can also measure workers' personal exposure level and compare with the provincial exposure limit. With noise assessment as the foundation, we can work with you towards developing a comprehensive hearing conservation program, in order to mitigate the risks and costs of noise-induced injury and illness.
Tools which can generate vibration are used everywhere at workplaces. Vibration is an actual occupational hazard with irreversible health effects! For that reason, we have to measure it. Provincial regulations do set up exposure limits for hand-arm vibration exposure. We can use personal vibration monitor, to perform tri-axial measurements of hand-arm vibration from power tools, machinery as well as other occupational vibration sources.
IAQ (Indoor Air Quality):
IAQ has become an important heath and safety concern, due to the large number of workers who become potentially exposed across industries, such as retail, healthcare and other service sectors. IAQ contaminants could come from the construction material, the occupants, cleaning agents, microorganisms, appliances as well as outdoor air intake. We can assess IAQ contaminants such as:
- Volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
- Airborne fiberglass
- Airborne asbestos

A systematic examination of your Health and Safety program is the only way to determine whether your program is meeting your company objectives.

Training is critical to Health and Safety Management. We offer the following training programs.
Leadership in Supervision:
The Supervisor is the hinge pin in creating a safe work site. Supervisors are often put into a leadership role without adequate training and understanding of their legal responsibilities. Supervisors are the critical link in the profit making process and much is expected of them. Often supervisors do not know how to balance productivity and safety. Our one day training course will give them the tools required to make safe decisions. We look at decision logic and leadership skills for supervisors.
Auditing and Inspection services:
Security Audit Report: Late Night Retail
